These photos from the trip to Senegal that the Bikefriendly team made in 2018 are the seed of the ' Travels with soul – Bicycles for education ' that we are launching next December 2019.
We went there to learn more about the work of Bicycles Without Borders in the Palmarín area, where they are developing the 'Bicycles for Education' project.
Bikefriendly collaborates with the project by funding the construction of a hangar where the school can store the bicycles of its students, which are becoming increasingly numerous thanks to the work of Bicycles Without Borders.
That trip impacted us so much that we want to give others the chance to experience the same sensations. Next December will be the first edition of 'Soulful Journeys – Bicycles for Education' open to the general public . Six days to discover the Palmarín area , the project, and also enjoy a four-day fat bike tour.
The goal is to launch the trip every year. So if you can't make it this time, stay tuned or sign up for the Bikefriendly Club to receive the monthly newsletter and be the first to know next time.
For this first edition in December 2019, you have all the information about the travel days, the bike routes, the total price, and how to sign up, at this link.
