What are the Women Mediterranean Stage?
The Women Mediterranean Stage are cycling training camps designed specifically for women who want to improve their technique on the bike and, at the same time, know and explore new destinations the way they like best: pedaling. They are also an excellent opportunity to meet other women with the same hobbies and be able to share experiences.
The main objective of the stages is to provide cyclists with a safe and positive environment in which they can improve their skills and performance, while enjoying a cycling getaway at different points on the Mediterranean coast, one of the most pleasant enclaves in our country. for road cycling.
On the cycling routes of each campus, you can enjoy two Attractive bike trips that cover the best coastal roads and Mediterranean towns. Each one, with about 80 and 100 kilometers per day, without reaching large slopes, around 1000 meters of positive slope. At all times she is accompanied by a professional guide and a support vehicle that provides help in the event of any unforeseen event. Having also solid supplies en route so you don't have to worry about anything. At the end of the route, already at the accommodation, the talks related to topics of interest such as sports nutrition and female biomechanics.
Experience of the participants in the stages
This initiative, which we launched with great enthusiasm last year, had two editions: the first in Salou and its famous mountain passes, and the second, on the wonderful roads of Terres de l'Ebre. In both, we enjoyed beautiful cycling days full of camaraderie with around twenty women riding together and admiring the spectacular views of the surroundings on the bike.
After the success, many participants wanted to repeat the experience of the Women Mediterranean Stage and asked us about new dates and destinations. Therefore, for this year 2023, we are encouraged to return to Salou and Terres de l'Ebre and add two new territories to explore by bike: Altea and Euskadi.

Women Mediterranean Stage – Salou
March 31 to April 2, 2023

Women Mediterranean Stage – Terres de l'Ebre
May 19 to 21, 2023
Can you imagine rolling among rice fields and flamingos? This is the experience that we propose to you in the second Women Mediterranean Stage in Terres de l’Ebre from May 19 to 21, 2023. In this training camp we will do two spectacular routes with a lot of charm, we will enter the mountain system of the Sierra del Cardó, with impressive landscapes, and we will discover the history of the Ebro Delta by pedaling. On each outing, we will have a guide, a support car, supplies and back at the hotel, there will be raffles and talks specialized in women's cycling.
Women Mediterranean Stage – Basque Country

Cycling along roads that perfectly outline the coast and admiring surprising cliffs in the company of other fine wheel enthusiasts is what awaits you in the third Women Mediterranean Stage in Euskadi from September 8 to 10, 2023. For this training camp, we will stay in the municipality of Azkoitia, located in the interior of the province of Gipuzkoa, which houses an impressive historical and cultural heritage and has a privileged location for the practice of cycle tourism. The first day of the route we will pedal along roads that border the coast, we will ascend to the top of Itziar and we will enjoy a beautiful descent along the road that leads to Zumaia. For the second day, we will travel through the interior of the region, passing through the Unarbe Reservoir and ascending to the heights of Atagoiti and Udana.
Women Mediterranean Stage – Altea
17 to 19 November 2023
Altea, in the heart of the Costa Blanca, has become a benchmark destination for road cycling. Its incomparable climate and roads, with ports of all categories, make us prepare the fourth Women Mediterranean Stage 2023 in Altea 17 19 to the November. At this all-female campus, hundreds of kilometers of quiet, stunning roads await you, winding through valleys and mountain passes along the Mediterranean coast. In the first route, we will know the climb to the Coll de Rates and when we top it, we can enjoy beautiful views of the sea. On the second day, we will take a tour of the interior: We will pass through Callosa de'n Sarrià, visit the attractive Guadalest Reservoir and the beautiful town of Finestrat.
