Greenways in the Ebro lands, Tarragona

Terra Alta Greenway
Located between Arnes and El Pinell de Brai, the Terra Alta Greenway offers 23 kilometers of paved road, crossing spectacular viaducts and tunnels between the ravines of the Canaletas River, immersed in a landscape of pine forests and karst rocks of great beauty.
The Terra Alta region is a wild territory located in the extreme south of Catalonia, dotted with almond trees and pine forests through which, until 1973, a few trains circulated. The perfect complement to the Terra Alta Greenway is the Baix Ebre or Val del Zafán Greenway, a 26 km itinerary, also paved, that connects Pinell de Brai and Tortosa, already at the mouth of the Ebro in the Mediterranean Sea. . This section has everything for traveling by bike with children, because in addition to many kilometers through impressive mountainous landscapes in the Els Ports Natural Park, it manages to reach, in its final part, the Ebre Delta Natural Park, one of the greatest natural jewels of our geography.
