From sea to sea, crossing the Pyrenees by mountain bike
Bikefriendly Tracks It invites you to discover its most spectacular mountain bike route. A self-guided itinerary that runs from the Mediterranean Sea to the Cantabrian Sea, crossing the Pyrenees mountain range and crossing Catalonia, Aragon, Navarra and the Basque Country.
12 stages, with distances between 50 and 123 kilometers per day, which run from the spectacular cliffs of the coast to the endless ascents of the great peaks of the central Pyrenees. Magical towns, unforgettable landscapes, dizzying heights, genuine people and authentic gastronomy.
You will cycle through natural spaces of great value such as the Cap de Creus, the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, the Castanesa and Chistau valleys, the Ordesa National Park or the Irati Forest and its majestic beech forests. Passing by historical monuments such as Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes or the Dalí Museum in Figueres, without forgetting towns full of charm such as Cadaqués, Aínsa, Jaca, Ansó, Roncesvalles or Hondarribia, among many other places. A tour with more than 1.000 km and 25.000 m of positive gradient that you can consider 'at once' on an unforgettable trip or over several years traveling sections in different periods. The basic ski pass includes: initial briefing, route tracks, accommodation reservation management, telephone assistance en route, map with route information, daily telephone briefing.
Services to which you can add, in addition, luggage transportation, GPS rental, local guide service, route assistance, bike rental, insurance, transfer from port, train station, buses or airport, among other options .All the accommodations we use on the route also belong to the Bikefriendly quality seal, which means that they have, at a minimum, a space where you can safely store your bike (in a locked space where there are also individual bike lockers), a washing space, tools where you can make adjustments to your bike, and spare parts. that you can buy to continue on your way with full guarantees. As they know the surroundings, they will also be able to advise you on the weather forecast and the state of the route.
