The second edition of the Gran Fondo Andorra MTB is already on the events billboard highlights for mountain biking. July 21 is the date chosen for this event, long awaited by cycle tourism lovers.
The route
The route begins in Sant Julià de Lòria, Naturlandia Cota 2.000 and extends through several more municipalities: Lles de Cerdanya, Bescaran, Arcavell, Estamariu and Pont de Bar. The high mountain landscape and the visit to different towns make up this route attractive and exciting that will surely attract many fans.
The distances to travel
In this edition, The march includes three distances, 24 km (831 m elevation gain), 45 km (1400 m elevation gain) and 93 km (2935 m elevation gain). This year the shorter route has been incorporated to make it more inclusive. This is a test open to athletes of all levels.
The great challenge
Given the characteristics of the terrain, the challenge will be in the great unevenness and not so much in the kilometers traveled. A good dose of expertise and a lot of strategy will be the keys to success.
The organization
Branding Gesció Esportiva and Andorra Turismo have proposed that the participants live a day that will last in their memories. All the details are planned for this to happen.
Services
Supply points will be installed during the race and after the finish line for cyclists and their companions. Mechanical assistance will address any vehicle inconvenience throughout the journey. There will be guarded parking and bicycle washing services.
