Trip description

The Women Mediterranean Stages are cycling training camps designed specifically for women who want to improve on the bike andAt the same time, discover and enjoy new destinations the way they like best: pedaling. They are also a fantastic opportunity to meet other women cyclists from other parts of the country.

The historic city of Tortosa in the Ebro delta, the small population of Lozoya in the mountains of Madrid, and the towns of Gernika, Mundaka and Bermeo in the Urdaibai region, will be the bases of the three Stages.

On these campuses, we will enjoy two attractive bike routes, accompanied by a guide who will help us in the event of any unforeseen event.

On the long exit of the Saturday there will be support vehicle and supplies en route so that we don't have to worry about anything and, upon our return, already at the hotel, there will be talks related to topics of interest such as bike mechanics, sports nutrition, female biomechanics,...

FAQs

Do you have to be very fit to participate in a Women Mediterranean Stage?
You have to be used to going out on a road bike, but these stages can be a perfect opportunity to do these distances or these slopes for the first time. There will always be girls with more and less experience, but the guide, the team and the support vehicle will be in charge of encouraging you and accompanying you at all times so that no one is ever left alone.
These stages are a perfect opportunity to get more comfortable riding in a group. Our guide will give you tips for riding in a group and, on the flats, we will try to put them into practice. On the ups and downs, each one will go at the pace they feel comfortable with and we will mark meeting points.
The best thing is that you always carry what you are used to taking: your salts, your bars... To avoid any downturn and so that you can eat and drink on the route whenever you need it. The refreshment stations will be marked at specific points and there you can refill the bottle, have a soft drink, fruit... On Saturday at noon, as the route is longer, we will make a real stop to eat. We usually bring pasta or rice salad.
Yes, of course, at the end of the reservation, we will contact you and send you a form with some relevant questions: contact in case of emergency, allergies and intolerances, medical problems... The menus and supplies will always be adapted to your needs.
Normally he is close to the last ones, but he must also attend possible breakdowns and the first ones when they reach the heights, so that they can warm up or change clothes.
