Bikefriendly Consulting has been working with him for months Sant Boi de Llobregat Town Hall in developing their own Urban Bike Strategy, a tool that will contribute decisively to the new healthier and more sustainable city model. Taking advantage of this circumstance, the municipal council, in collaboration with Bikefriendly Consulting, has organized an agenda of activities to get the bike out on the street and get citizens to get on it and enjoy the experience of moving on this vehicle.
The program began on Saturday, September 16, when a bicycle sample and test on Rambla Rafael Casanova, one of the main arteries of the city, in collaboration with local specialized shops. Electric bicycles were the main protagonists, awakening the interest of a large part of the participants who until then had not tried them. In addition, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area and the Network of Cities for Bicycles also had a stand to inform about subsidies for the acquisition of electric bicycles and the voluntary bicycle registration service, respectively. The day concluded with a bike+train departure to Prat beach, where participants were able to enjoy the sunset in an unbeatable environment. To return, a night route was organized along the banks of the Llobregat River.
