The La Nucía Tourist Information Office is Bikefriendly
Last year 2020, The La Nucía Tourist Information Office acquired the Bikefriendly quality seal by achieving a better positioning in sports tourism. Specifically, highlighting the mountain bike routes in its surroundings, as well as its Bike Park and BMX facilities.
In addition, the information office has a bike rack, a quick repair kit with tools and all the information necessary to enjoy a cycling day in the surroundings of La Nucía.
La Nucía BTT Network
La La Nucía BTT Network It starts from the starting garden where there is a picnic area and a mechanical corner to tune up your bike. It has 4 spectacular circular mountain bike routes of different levels and for all ages.
These routes pass through the Ponoig-Puig Campana protected area, the CEM, all the wetland areas of the municipality and several other points of scenic, historical and cultural interest in La Nucía.
bike Park
The Nucía Bike Park is a forest garden attached to the Sports City that invites the cyclist to enter the pine forests. Being the origin and end point of both the trail network and the La Nucía BTT network. It is connected via 540 m of bike lane adapted for both bicycles and pedestrians, with the starting garden located next to the Sports City Skate Park.
Furthermore, on the Single Track route, you will not only be able to enjoy a clean and safe trail, but it will also contain different wooden structures, such as Cants, Wallrides and Drops of different sizes, Dowies and Walkways.
Route 1 Blue
A 10 km route ideal for getting started on MTB and having fun with climbs on dirt tracks and descents on paths that pass through the Captivador area and the La Nucía Sports Center.
Black Route 2
This 8 km circuit has trials, very technical descents and uphill stretches on trails that require very good physical and technical preparation. Being a route suitable for doing as an XC circuit for high level users.
Route 3 Red – Water Route
Cycle tourism lovers will be able to discover all the watery corners of La Nucía. A 22 km route suitable for doing it with an e-bike, where the only difficulty lies in the pace you set, as it runs through forest tracks and orchard paths.
Route 4 Red
27 km circular route suitable for fans accustomed to mountain biking with a certain technical level. It runs through the protected landscape Puig Campana-Ponoig, Mas de la Monja (602m altitude), the Captivador pine forest, El Tossal... ending at the Bike Park.
BMX track
The La Nucía BMX circuit offers great possibilities for different techniques. Composed of an exit at 5 meters high, 5 straights, 3 180º curves and a total route of 430 meters. It also has plateau, double, triple and quadruple jumps. Other longer jumps, 11 and 9 meters and a third straight of 110 meters.
