The project, which will take place over 8 weeks, includes the celebration of four days aimed at the participation of all companies, clubs and associations in the territory that want to collaborate.
The prThe first session will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 11.00:18.00 a.m. in Jaca in the Europa Room of the Congress Palace and at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. in Sabiñánigo at the headquarters of the Alto Gállego Region.
Within the framework of the project, new tourism products, a joint destination brand and a marketing plan for their promotion will be developed. In addition, new avenues will be facilitated for the digitalization and marketing of cycling products.
The regions of La Jacetania and Alto Gállego, as well as the municipalities of Jaca and Sabiñánigo, jointly promote the project 'Jacetania and Alto Gállego regions: building together a reference cycling destination'.
In this cooperation project between the four administrations, financed by the Leader funds and managed by Adequate (local action group in these regions), which aspires to consolidate our territory as a unmissable destination for cycling lovers in all its modalities, both nationally and internationally.
Its objective is to highlight the mountain bike centers that already exist in the two regions, the work carried out in recent years for the signaling of routes, ports and trails, the sporting events related to cycling that are held in the territory and the great attractions that this area of the Pyrenees houses for the road cyclist.
Under the project, We will work jointly with tourism and specialized agents of the two regions for the generation of new tourism products that highlight the potential of the territory for cycle tourism.
Additionally, there will be developed a joint destination branding and marketing plan for its promotion, in order to effectively position the new brand and its tourist products linked to cycle tourism at a national and international level.
Four participatory days: program and registration
To achieve this, the institutions involved want to have the participation and collaboration of the tourism and specialized agents that operate in the territory and that is why they have planned to hold four days open to the participation of all companies, associations and clubs.
These sessions will be aimed at raising awareness among agents about key aspects of cycle tourism and its customer profile, at co-creating the new destination brand and its new tourism products, and at identifying appropriate avenues for its promotion and marketing.
The first day will take place next Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and all agents interested in being part of the project are invited to participate. A first session of the day will be held in Jaca at 11.00:18.00 (Europe Room of the Congress Palace) and a second in Sabiñánigo at XNUMX:XNUMX (at the headquarters of the Alto Gállego Region), to facilitate the attendance of all interested parties.
