Bikefriendly organizes together with Valencian Community Tourism and Commonwealth of L'Alcoià and the Comtat, the II public-private cycle tourism day in Spain.
La second edition will take place next November 29 in Alcoi and will have ua day of debate and reflection
The event will begin with the opening of a Day of Debate and Reflection on policies linked to cycle tourism, where the challenges and opportunities of the sector will be jointly addressed.
REFLECTION JOURNEY
First block:
The morning session will begin with a first block of presentations where they will talk about the role of public administrations in promoting cycle tourism. For this, there will be the participation of:
. Nacho Tomas, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Network of Cities for Bicycles
. Carlos Marco, Head of the Economic Policies, Innovation and Tourism Area at Gandia City Council
. Juan Castro, CEO at Castroconsulting.
Second block:
The second block will be oriented to debate and reflect on the keys to promoting cycle tourism and will feature the intervention of:
. Manolo Gomicia, President of the Mancomunitat de l'Alcoià and the Comtat and Councilor for Economic Dynamization, Innovation and Territory of the City Council of Alcoi
. Victor Tarodo, President of IMBA
. Xisco Lliteras, General Director of Mallorca 312.
This first session will end with a round table moderated by the Bikefriendly team where all the speakers will participate.
Afternoon session:
The afternoon session will focus on presentation and dynamization of work tables which will revolve around the 2 areas raised during the morning session, and which will aim to jointly think and propose possible scenarios that contribute to the promotion of cycle tourism.
Finally, as a conclusion, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and the Mancomunitat de l'alcoià i el Comtat will close the II Conference.
