This travel program also responds to the requests many of our customers and followers have been making for some time: a cycling tour that can be truly enjoyed as a family, with everyone on the bike, not just as companions to the cyclist participating in an event or ride. Bikefriendly Kids comprises a series of four three-stage/three-day trips or routes along greenways , perfect for enjoying a healthy lifestyle, the scenery, and cycling as a family. The program will soon be expanded for the summer months. A unique experience for all ages, always with the Bikefriendly guarantee , so you won't want for anything and can focus solely on pedaling.
But be careful! You're sure to run into Pinchazo, the mischievous cycling hedgehog from Bikefriendly Kids , along some of these routes . One of his favorite pranks is puncturing the tires of children and adults alike... but don't worry, he can also tell you how to get to the hotel's Bikefriendly Area to get it fixed. Having the collaboration of Vías Verdes – Fundación de Ferrocarriles Españoles (Greenways – Spanish Railways Foundation) when designing these packages guarantees two things: firstly, that the routes follow paths or tracks converted from old railway lines, with a smooth, compacted, and relatively free of rocks, without any steep inclines, and in some cases, signposted. This allows all members of the family to enjoy cycling on them, whether on mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, tandems, or cycle trailers.

The greenways of Asturias, Girona, Tarragona, and Alicante are the chosen locations for these first four Bikefriendly Kids trips . The first of these will allow you to discover the essence of Asturias' natural beauty, along the Bear's Trail and the Fuso Greenway.
Secondly, the magnificent Carrilet Green Way , which practically crosses the province of Girona, will take you through always favorable terrain from the capital to the Costa Brava.
In Tarragona, the main attractions are the Greenways of Terra Alta and Baix Ebre , which allow you to cycle along the banks of the Ebro and discover the spectacular landscapes of the Els Ports Natural Park, through more than 40 tunnels and viaducts.
Finally, inland in Alicante, specifically around Alcoy, you can cycle with your family along the Alcoy Greenway and the Xixarra Greenway , at the foot of the Sierra de Mariola mountain range and the Carrascal de la Font Roja Natural Park. All packages include: half-board accommodation in a Bikefriendly establishment, a welcome pack for children, a daily picnic lunch, hotel-route-hotel transfers (if needed), and travel insurance.
