With only two days in International Tourism Fair We can now confirm something: cycle tourism is booming.
And finally the appointment arrived. After months of work and sleepless nights, we are present with our own stand at the Madrid International Tourism Fair, one of the most important in the world. And the sensations couldn't be better... Bikefriendly is in fashion!
We have had few moments of tranquility so far at the fair. And, apart from the appointments and meetings that we had arranged in advance, our stand (hall 8 stand B25) It has been a constant coming and going of people interested in learning about our project and, in one way or another, joining it.
On the one hand, there have been many accommodations that have come to consult us about our Quality seal and the way to access it, from small rural establishments to large luxury hotels. And not only at the national level... They also come to know us from abroad! So stay tuned for our next accessions, there may be many surprises...
From the point of view of Bikefriendly Tours, the wholesale-retail travel agency that we created a little over a year ago, the perceptions have also been very positive, especially when it comes to showing our new work tool, the website bikefriendlytours.bike, where you can find all our proposals for 2017, both in organized and scheduled trips, and in those that you can design 'at your own pace'. From here we invite you to visit it, if you have not already done so. And as a consultancy that works for various territories of the Spanish state, in addition to presenting Huesca as the first certified Bikefriendly Territory, the contacts and meetings with other areas of Spain and their administrative entities have also been fruitful... and we hope that very soon there will be other provinces that are decisively committed to cycle tourism as a form of sustainable economic development and a source of wealth for the local populations that make them up.
