Its Quality Seal, a pioneer in our country, has seven hotels in the Mediterranean archipelago, a number that plans to increase in the coming months.
The bicycle and, therefore, cycle tourism, are booming and the Balearic Islands have been one of its nerve centers for years. The Mediterranean archipelago is a pleasure for anyone who wants enjoy the sport of cycling, nature and the sea. Mallorca, the largest island, has an unparalleled international tradition in cycle tourism, so Bikefriendly Group has decided to bet on this destination for a long time, but always from the parameters of the final quality of the offer and specialization.
The result of this interest is the agreement signed months ago between Bikefriendly Tours and Serhs Tourism to launch an innovative line of cycle tourism trips, operated by Bikefriendly Tours and marketed by Serhs, which are already present in the international market, mainly Europe and Russia. Some trips that bet on quality and specialization offered by tourist accommodation and complementary services to be contracted, such as high-end bicycle rental, personal guide services, transfer between accommodations or biomechanical study during the trip, among many others.In addition, Bikefriendly Tours offers its own package, intended for the national public, focused on a tour of the Sierra de Tramontana for six days, with accommodation in hotels with the Bikefriendly Quality Seal, support car, supplies, specialized guide, etc.
In both cases, the establishments used on these trips meet a series of cycle tourism quality requirements and, therefore, are integrated into the Bikefriendly Quality Seal, pioneer in our country.
Bikefriendly has more than 250 establishments adhering to its Quality Seal. In Mallorca there are six member hotels, among which are four with the Classic category –Hotel Fénix, Hotel Dalí, Hotel JS Alcudi-mar and El Galeón Suites- and two with the Resort category –Hotel Barceló Pueblo Park and Sallés Hotel & Spa Marina Portals- where travelers can enjoy cycling in great detail. In addition to Mallorca, the Hotel Marítimo is the first hotel in Ibiza with the Bikefriendly quality seal, a three-star establishment with the Classic category. The ultimate goal of Bikefriendly Group in the Balearic Islands is to offer a quality product not only intended to accommodate large groups of cyclists, but also in more personalized and experiential products, with the support of smaller and charming accommodations, where the trip becomes a unique experience for the cyclist in every sense.
