During the year 2018 from Bikefriendly Consulting we have worked together with SOFEJEA (Ejea de los Caballeros Development Agency) in the making of a Plan to enhance the Territory of Bardena Aragonese through specialization in cycle tourism.
The main objective of the project was to enhance the Bardena Aragonese Visitor Center in Ejea de los Caballeros as a key space to promote tourism in the area, deseasonalize tourist activity and increase the number of visitors through a high-quality tourism proposal, with the capacity to satisfy the expectations of tourists.
To achieve this objective, several works have been carried out:
- Firstly, a Territorial diagnosis exhaustive based on the potential of the area in terms of cycling tourism.
- Subsequently, several agent awareness workshops of the value chain.
- Finally, the preliminary lines were established on which the bases for the generation of quality tourism products, linked to the bicycle in the Bardena Aragonese.
El 29 2018 de septiembre, framed in the 4th Edition of World Tourism Day in Ejea, the public presentation of this project will take place.
This Thursday, September 13, Ejea de los Caballeros will be the starting point of the eighteenth stage of The return to Spain.
