A circular route down the wildest part of Navarra for MTB lovers. A trip to the old Pamplona that will allow us to discover the Pre-Pyrenean Valleys of Arce, Erro and Esteribar. Discover millenary forests, the legend of Basandere and iconic spots of the Navarran geography such as Roncesvalles, Quinto Real, the Itoiz and Eugi Reservoirs and the famous Irati Jungle.

We will cross deep valleys through historic Roman roads, discovering hidden spots, infinite beech woods, incredible trails, meadows with wild horses, old Civil War bunkers or descending trails full of flow. All this and more is awaiting you in the Kingdom of Navarra. Are you going to miss it?

Itinerario

STAGE 1: Huarte - Aoiz

Distancia: 46km Desnivel: +1.257m

In our first stage we will ride through the Aranguren Mountains and climb up to the Irulegui Castle, from where we will be able to enjoy amazing views of the city of Pamplona. From there we will ride down to continue our way among tracks and paths along the Irati River, which will lead us to Aoiz.

STAGE 2: Aoiz - Burguete

Distancia: 44km Desnivel: +1.200m

Afrter we leave Aoiz we will go deep into the maple valley to ride down the recently recovered Roman road. We will combine tracks and trails to pass typical villages from Navarra and lush beech woods, to finally arrive at Burguete down the historical Road to Santiago.

STAGE 3: Buerguete - Eugi

Distancia: 55km Desnivel: +1.470

In this stage we will leave Burguete behind crossing magical forests and trails. We recommend visiting the historic Collegiate Church of Roncesvalles, the best example of Gothic architecture in Navarra and one of the prettiest spots we will find along the route. We will continue our journey down the Road to Santiago and climb Mount Adi until we reach Eugi.

STAGE 4: Eugi - Pamplona

Distancia: 43km Desnivel: +942

We will leave Eugui skirting the reservoir and ride up the Burgindogi Forest, an MTB reference in Navarre. This forest is full of trails covered in leaves that fall from the trees. We will link continuous trails riding up and down until we reach Larrasoaña, and then we will go back on the Road to Santiago that takes us to Pamplona.
