Cerdanya Gravel

285 km / + 6800 m
Level: ★★★★☆
Departure: May-November
3 to 4 stages

TRIP DESCRIPTION

If your passion for cycling goes beyond the daily kilometers covered and you prefer to get away from the noise to make unpaved high mountain passes, this is your route!

A route through the roads and mountain passes that we always wanted to travel, but that the absence of asphalt did not allow us to connect.

A high mountain Gravel route, expressly designed for this type of bikes and cyclists, which you can adapt to your needs depending on the amount of asphalt/dirt you want to do.

The Cerdanya Gravel route starts from two different routes with 212 km and 285 km, designed to be carried out in three and four stages respectively.

Each route also offers two different options, one with a 50/50% asphalt/dirt ratio and the other with an 80/20% ratio.

The two options will be available to the biker who completes the route, in such a way that at each intersection the participants will be able to choose whether to follow the route by land or by road. In this way, each group will be able to adapt the route to their needs.

In any case, the cyclist will discover an ideal territory for the practice of gravel, where the paved roads end at the arrival at the ski slopes, but the forest tracks with a good surface continue to make dreamy mountain passes, surrounded by lakes and spruce forests beyond 2000 m altitude.
