Tour of Mallorca by bike: An unforgettable cycling experience

Get ready to tour Mallorca on a road bike, enjoying every kilometre on the bike on roads that seem tailor-made for cycling enthusiasts. Over the course of 5 days, we will go around the entire island, Discovering spectacular landscapes, from the endless blue of the Mediterranean to the majesty of the Serra de Tramuntana. This route is every cyclist's dream: challenging mountain passes, peaceful plains and nature in its purest form.

We will start in Palma and We will explore hidden corners, from the quiet coastal roads of the south and the charm of the Es Trenc Natural Park to the wild beauty of Portocolom and the coves with turquoise and crystal-clear waters.We will cycle along the east coast until we reach Playa de Muro and Puerto de Pollensa, where the landscape will take your breath away.

The second half of the trip will be a true immersion in the Serra de Tramuntana, where you will experience and have the chance to conquer legendary climbs such as Sa Calobra and Puig Major. This is where your endurance and passion for cycling will be put to the test, but with every climb, dizzying descents and views that will reward every effort await you. The road will take us to the spectacular viewpoints of Formentor, to the picturesque villages of Sóller, Deià and Estellencs, and back to Palma after an epic cycling adventure.

Every morning, we will start with a Group breakfast, followed by a briefing where we will plan the day's stage. The support vehicle will always be by our side to ensure that you only focus on enjoying the ride. You will be able to leave your belongings, recharge your energy and adjust your equipment according to the conditions of the day.

The stages, each around 100 km long, will allow you to discover the best of Mallorca. The first two days offer a moderate profile, with gradients between 600 and 900 metres, ideal for warming up your legs and enjoying the scenery. Then, the real adventure begins in the Serra de Tramuntana, where we will reach gradients of up to 2.300 metres and feel the thrill of conquering some of the most iconic cycling routes in Europe.

From Palma to Portocolom – The cliffs of the south and the coves of the Levante

Today we begin our route Leaving Palma heading south, riding on secondary roads with little traffic but with a special charm for the cyclist. The first part of the day will take us through the impressive Cabo Blanco cliffs, where views of the Mediterranean will accompany you constantly. This area is famous for its spectacular viewpoints that rise above the sea, giving us unforgettable panoramic views of the island of Cabrera on the horizon.

As we move forward, We will skirt the coast passing through the Es Trenc Natural Park, one of the most iconic landscapes in Mallorca.Here, the turquoise waters and unspoiled beaches of Salobrar contrast with the ancient salt flats, creating an unforgettable postcard. You will feel the sea breeze as you pedal along a road that seems designed for the enjoyment of road cyclists, with gentle undulations and long straights where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings.

Today we embark on a epic stage that crosses the north of the island, a region known for some of the most impressive landscapes in Mallorca and an ideal terrain for road cycling. Starting from Portocolom, we will cycle along quiet roads that will take us to Artà, a town with a special charm, dominated by its imposing castle on the hill. Artà has always been a point of reference for cyclists looking to discover the most authentic side of Mallorca, with its cobbled streets and proximity to the mountains.

As we head towards the north coast, the terrain begins to soften, allowing us to ride smoothly along the undulating roads of the Mallorcan Levante. The asphalt is perfect for maintaining a good pace, and the small towns we pass through are testimony to a quieter Mallorca, far from the tourist bustle.

We will soon reach one of the most iconic sections of cycling in Mallorca: Muro Beach, known as the “Golden Mile of cycling”. From Puerto Pollensa to Sóller – In the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana

Today we enter the queen stage of our journey, crossing the legendary Serra de Tramuntana, a true paradise for road cyclists. From Puerto Pollensa, we head straight towards one of the most legendary ports on the island: Formentor Lighthouse. This port, known both for its demanding nature and for its dreamlike landscapes, It is a classic in the world of Mallorcan cycling.. Along the climb, the road winds through cliffs that rise above the Mediterranean, offering breathtaking views at every turn. The climb is challenging, but the reward upon reaching the lighthouse is an unforgettable panoramic view. which many professional cyclists consider one of the most beautiful spots on the island.

After descending from Formentor, we headed towards the interior of the Serra de Tramuntana, where mountains dominate the landscape. Heading towards the Lluc Monastery, the route takes us through some of the most iconic climbs on the island. Today we cover the last stage of our cycling adventure, a journey that continues to embrace the spectacular Serra de Tramuntana in its final stretch, offering landscapes of mountains, sea and cliffs that will leave their mark. Starting from Sóller, we enter a series of winding roads that connect some of the most beautiful and authentic villages in Mallorca. These routes, famous for their tranquillity and beauty, have witnessed countless training sessions by professional cyclists who come to Mallorca to improve their physical fitness and enjoy the surroundings.

Our first stop will be the charming town of Deià, nestled between mountains and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Its steep cobbled streets and stone houses will make you feel as if you were pedaling in another time. This stretch is especially valued by cyclists due to the Stunning views from the top of the cliffs, with the blue of the sea contrasting with the intense green of the mountain.

We continue the route towards Banyalbufar, a town that seems to hang from the cliffs, famous for its agricultural terraces that descend towards the sea. This stretch of road is one of the most picturesque on the entire island, with gentle descents and curves that will allow you to enjoy the view while still riding smoothly. The panoramic views of the Mediterranean, always present along the route, are simply spectacular.
