TRACKS LA GOMERA explores some of the island's most spectacular landscapes through a circular route that links its main valleys and towns, combining scenic roads, tracks and paths with permanent views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The route begins in San Sebastián de La Gomera, the gateway to the island, and heads towards Hermigua, passing through the Garajonay National Park and its lush laurel forests. From there, it continues to Vallehermoso, exploring some of the most authentic corners of northern La Gomera, before descending to the spectacular Valle Gran Rey, one of the island's most iconic landscapes.

The final stage crosses the south of La Gomera to Playa Santiago, passing through deep ravines, natural viewpoints, and small villages where tradition remains strong. Weather permitting, we will ascend to the island's highest point, Alto de Garajonay (1485 m).

Throughout the journey, the itinerary reveals an island of contrasts, where cloud forests give way to volcanic landscapes, agricultural terraces and cliffs overlooking the Atlantic, offering a unique experience to discover the essence of La Gomera on two wheels.

MTB – GRAVEL is possible. An e-bike is recommended to enjoy the routes.
Dry and stony 2,15″ – 2,20″ Local bikers use tubeless tires or inner tubes with sealant. There may be mud in some areas.
The route is tracked using a GPS tracker. The organizers also provide participants with a route map with points of interest along the stages, including restaurants, accommodations, etc.
It can be done year-round: spring, autumn, and winter are the most pleasant seasons. In summer, it's usually not as hot as on the mainland, but it tends to be windier and prices are higher.
Asphalt in good condition and dirt tracks in fairly good condition.
