Tracks Monte Perdido is a circular MTB route in stages in the Aragonese Pyrenees based in Aínsa , designed to travel through some of the most emblematic mountain biking territories in Spain, in the heart of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.

The route runs through the heart of Sobrarbe, connecting high mountain areas and valleys of great natural value through tracks, paths and trails, many of them integrated into the Zona Zero Aínsa MTB Centre , an international reference for MTB.

From Aínsa, the route gradually enters an increasingly spectacular mountain environment, passing through some of the most representative valleys of the Pyrenees such as the Pineta Valley , one of the natural access points to the Monte Perdido massif, or the Pineta Valley (Bielsa) , where the landscape opens up between forests and large mountain walls.

The route also connects with the Chistau Valley (Plan) , one of the most authentic and least crowded areas of the Pyrenees, where the route takes on an alpine character and the feeling of isolation is greater. These stages reach high mountain areas such as the Bordas de Biadós or the Comodoto area , where the views and the cycling experience reach their peak.

Throughout the route, sections of gradual ascent are combined with more technical and spectacular descents, taking advantage of some of the most renowned trails in Zona Zero, making the route a very complete experience for the mountain biker.

Ideal bike
A full-suspension bike is the most suitable for this type of route.
Versatile tires are the most appropriate, as you'll encounter different surfaces: rock, dirt tracks, loose rock sections, cobblestones, etc. It's best to use tubeless tires or inner tubes with sealant. If you're hiking in the mountains and the weather changes quickly, it's advisable to carry at least a windbreaker. We recommend carrying a backpack with water, a multi-tool, and enough spares like inner tubes. A thermal blanket and a small first-aid kit are always helpful.
The GPS equipment continues, either with yours or we can rent one for you. We deliver the track in GPX format. The organization also provides those registered with a map of the route with points of interest during the stages, restaurants, accommodation, etc.
Spring, summer, and autumn, although summer tends to be warmer. It's closed in winter due to snow, as we exceed 2000 m at three points along the route.
This route explores less-traveled and therefore technical trails and paths, both uphill and downhill. There are short portage sections as we overcome high mountain passes. Depending on your technique and strength, the route is 90% rideable.
This is a self-guided, non-competitive tour. The important thing is to enjoy mountain biking in its purest form.
Considering the technical nature of the route and altitude, it is advisable to book this service.
The organization offers the support service on the route, in the briefing we explain the rates.
In the initial briefing we explain it to you on the route map, but we recommend carrying a backpack with enough water and food to ride the entire day, given that there are some stages that do not pass through inhabited towns.
