itinerario

Tracks Aneto is a circular MTB route in stages in the Aragonese Pyrenees with the start and end in the Benasque valley , which covers some of the most representative landscapes of the area, combining high mountains, valleys and historical paths.

The route is structured around the axis formed by Benasque, Castejón de Sos, Laspaúles, and Campo , connecting these areas via mountain tracks, trails, and lightly trafficked secondary roads. Throughout the journey, the route constantly gains and loses altitude, offering a dynamic and varied experience.

From the Benasque valley, the route heads south in search of more open areas, passing through the area around Castejón de Sos and descending towards Campo , where the landscape changes to a more Mediterranean character, with gentle reliefs and wide views over the Ésera valley.

As the route climbs again, it enters the Laspaúles area , connecting with less frequented mountain zones and a more tranquil, authentic atmosphere. Along this stretch, the itinerary crosses valleys such as the Estós Valley , one of the most iconic spots in the Pyrenees, where nature and the alpine landscape take center stage.

The return to Benasque is through higher altitude areas, where the landscape once again transforms into a distinctly Pyrenean environment, with constant views of the Aneto and Maladeta massifs , accompanying the cyclist for much of the route.

The route combines mountain tracks, trails, and easier sections , creating a balance between physical challenge and enjoyment of the surroundings. Each day offers the opportunity to discover a different area of the region, always maintaining the feeling of undertaking a true high-mountain trek.
