Mountain biking in the Pyrenees in its purest form with Ordesa Tracks: a Mountain bike route through the Aragonese Pyrenees, 260 km long and with a cumulative elevation gain of 7250 m, which crosses three regions and allows you to discover the surroundings of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, most of it via paths and trails.

Once a land of smugglers, it was filled with trails that today allow us to enjoy wonderful landscapes with spectacular views and magical corners, while feeling watched over by the watchful eye and the elegant flight of the bearded vulture. You'll also be able to admire the picturesque Pyrenean villages you pass through, brimming with Romanesque architecture in every corner.

We help you adapt the difficulty of the route to your profile. This way, you can perform the stages in 3, 4 or 5 daysIf you wish, you can take the tour with a Tracks de Ordesa guide.

Along the way, you'll visit different towns where you'll find a multitude of accommodations and services where you can enjoy the hospitality of the locals and traditional cuisine. In addition, at Bike-Friendly accommodations, you can benefit from essential services for cyclists free of charge.

At the end of the route, with your book duly stamped, you will receive an exclusive TRACKS DE ORDESA jersey. The meeting point for both the start and finish will be in the city of Jaca.

FAQs

Ideal bike: Without a doubt, a full-suspension bike is the most suitable for this type of route.

Tires: Versatile tires are the most appropriate, as there are many different surfaces (rock slabs, paths, steps, tracks, loose rock sections, cobblestones, singletrack, etc.). This is an area with a lot of vegetation and fairly narrow trails: local bikers use tubeless tires or inner tubes with sealant.

Orientation: The route is tracked using a GPS tracker. The organizers also provide participants with technical sheets for all stages, along with information and useful tips throughout the route.

Best time: Spring, summer and autumn with their beech forests and colors.

Type of roads: The route runs along 100% cycle tracks and paths, including some paved sections to explore hidden, idyllic valleys. However, technique is always important in MTB, especially on the trails.

Philosophy: This is a self-guided, non-competitive tour; the important thing is to enjoy mountain biking in its purest form.

Luggage transport: Given the technical nature of the route, it is highly recommended to book this service. The price depends on the number of people and the stages of the route.

Mechanical assistance: The organization offers support services on the road.

Supplies: Some stages don't pass through towns where you can eat, so it's advisable to be self-sufficient and book a picnic.
