FAQs

Ideal bike: Any mountain bike (MTB). The choice will depend on each individual's priorities, but a full-suspension bike is always more comfortable on the trail.

Tires: Versatile tires are the most appropriate, as there are many different types of surfaces (rock, paths, steps, trails, loose rock sections, cobblestones, etc.). Bikers in the area use tubeless tires or inner tubes with sealant.

Orientation: A self-guided, GPS-assisted, multi-stage route is non-competitive and a joyful way to enjoy a wide variety of mountain landscapes, fine cuisine, and the local culture.

Best time: Spring, summer, and fall. But summer can be harsher in some areas due to the heat.

Type of roads: The route runs along 100% cycle tracks and paths, including some paved sections to explore hidden, idyllic valleys. However, technique is always important in MTB, especially on the trails.

Philosophy: This is a self-guided, non-competitive tour; the important thing is to enjoy mountain biking in its purest form.

Luggage transport: Given the technical nature of the route, it is highly recommended to book this service. The price depends on the number of people and the stages of the route.

Mechanical assistance: We offer support from local shops as repair points.

Supplies: Some stages don't pass through towns where you can eat and drink, so it's advisable to be self-sufficient and book a picnic.
