Description
Tracks Tor it's an exciting two-day mountain biking route in the Lleida Pyrenees. This is a cross-border MTB route, ideal for a weekend or long weekend. This adventure will allow you to discover the beauty of the legendary village of Tor, located at an altitude of 1649 meters in the Pallars Sobirà region, in the Lleida Pyrenees, right on the border with Andorra. About the Village of Tor Tor is a picturesque, typically Pyrenean highland village made up of 13 hamlets. It is famous for the tragic events that occurred in July 1995, when the heir to one of the largest estates in the Pyrenees was murdered. This case had a huge impact and was eventually reported on television. The village is currently a tourist destination. Natural Attractions The route runs entirely within the High Pyrenees Natural Park, offering us the opportunity to observe the area's protected wildlife, one of the route's main attractions. We'll also be able to appreciate the typical architecture of this region of the Pyrenees and its Romanesque art. Two-day circular route. Day 1: Tor – Llavorsí The mountain bike route is spectacular, offering unique landscapes and places in the Pyrenees. The adventure begins in Tor and enters Andorra through the famous Port de Cabús. We'll stay in Andorra for a few kilometers until we reach the tourist village of Os de Civís, from where we'll return to Andorra. We'll pass through the Tirbí Valley and La Coma, culminating in Llavorsí. Day 2: Llavorsí – Bosc de Virós – Farro Path The second stage takes us to one of the largest forests in the Vall Ferrera: the Bosc de Virós. We'll stop at the Gall Fer refuge and then descend the legendary Farro path, an exciting 6-km descent of pure flow.

- Ideal bike: Any mountain bike (MTB). The choice will depend on each individual's priorities: lighter weight (hardtail) or greater comfort and enjoyment of the trails and descents (full-suspension). The route is also highly recommended for e-bikes, with charging stations at all hotels.
- How to find your way around: The route is tracked using a GPS tracker. The organizers also provide participants with technical information for each stage, a route map, and useful information and tips throughout the route.
- Best time of year: It can be done from April to November, with the best seasons being spring (with its lush landscape) and autumn (when the leaves are falling). In summer, the heat is very bearable, as this is a Pyrenean route with numerous forests and rivers where you can take a dip.
- Type of terrain: Alpine forest trail and alpine path of medium difficulty. Some descents are truly thrilling, with runs up to 6 km long.
- Philosophy of the routeThis is a self-guided, non-competitive tour; the important thing is to enjoy mountain biking in its purest form.
