Tracks del Diable is a pure adventure mountain bike circuit through the Osona region, passing through the sub-regions of Cabrerés, Vall del Ges, Bisaura, and Ripolles.

Through bandit country and taking advantage of the paths and trails where Joan de Serrallonga and Perot Rocaguinarda passed, you can enjoy wonderful landscapes with beautiful and strategic views. You can also see the typical country houses where the bandits fought and observe the caves where they hid.

The meeting point for both the start and finish is the town of Torelló, covering a 205-km route, most of it along trails and paths with a cumulative elevation gain of 5813 m.

You can adapt the difficulty of the route to your level, depending on the stages you complete, spreading them over 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 days. If you wish, you can do the tour accompanied by a Tracks del Diable guide. This route can be done 365 days a year.

All the accommodations selected by Tracks del Diable offer all the comforts and excellent cuisine typical of the region. Along the route, you'll find restaurants and inns where you can enjoy the richness and variety of the area.

FAQs

Ideal bike: Without a doubt, a full-suspension bike is the most suitable for this type of route.

Tires: Versatile tires are the most appropriate, as there are many different surfaces (rock slabs, paths, steps, tracks, loose rock sections, cobblestones, singletrack, etc.). This is an area with a lot of vegetation and fairly narrow trails: local bikers use tubeless tires or inner tubes with sealant.

Orientation: The route is tracked using a GPS tracker. The organizers also provide participants with a route map with points of interest along the stages, including restaurants, accommodations, etc.

Best time: It can be done year-round, but spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons; summer is often hot, but the route is largely shaded, along paths and bushwalks.

Type of roads: There are many challenging and technical trails and paths, both uphill and downhill. Depending on your technical skills and strength, the route is 95% rideable. There are some uphill sections and downhill sections that require a certain level of skill.

Philosophy: This is a self-guided, non-competitive tour; the important thing is to enjoy mountain biking in its purest form.

Luggage transport: Given the technical nature of the route, it is highly recommended to book this service. The price depends on the number of people and the stages of the route.

Mechanical assistance: The organization offers support services on the road.

Supplies: At each stage, you will pass through one or more villages where you can stop to eat and get water.
