Ideal bike
Any mountain bike (MTB). The choice will depend on each individual's priorities: lighter weight (hardtail) or greater comfort and enjoyment of the descents (full-suspension). FOR FAMILIES: Any mountain bike inspected and prepared for this adventure. The route can also be done with a rear child seat. We can also adapt it to fit a stroller if you want to go with even younger children.
Versatile tires are the most appropriate, as there are many different surfaces (rock slabs, paths, steps, tracks, loose rock sections, cobblestones, single tracks, etc.). This is an area with a lot of vegetation and fairly closed trails: local bikers use tubeless tires or inner tubes with sealant. FOR FAMILIES: The type of tire is not particularly important. If the wheel diameter is a concern, we recommend bikes with a minimum diameter of 20 inches, which will allow them to easily overcome the typical obstacles found on any mountain trail.

All year round, although autumn in Asturias is spectacular for mountain biking. Temperatures are fairly stable throughout the year. During Easter, July, and August, check hotel availability.
