Enter the Principality of Asturias and discover Nava, world-class cider town where the Cider MuseumThe surroundings of this town are made up of ancient palaces and magnificent landscapes such as the Peñamayor Mountain Range. You will continue with your bike for Infiesto, Asturian town with a wonderful natural environment enjoyed by its people. There, the Piloña Nature Reserve full of mountains, forests and hidden valleys full of color.
Later, you will cycle to Arriondas, the starting point of the International Descent of the Sella, where the famous event is held The CanoesA few kilometers away you will reach Canga de Onís, cradle of the reconquest and gateway to the Picos de Europa.
Reaching the halfway point, you can relax on the fine golden sand beaches of ColungaGather your strength to roll to the town of Villaviciosa known for its gastronomic offerings, or Playa de la Ñora, which has white sand areas and pools suitable for swimming. There, you will also find the Estuary Nature Reserve Considered one of the best-preserved estuaries with the greatest environmental value on the Cantabrian coast. Finally, you will finish the route in Gijón, capital of the Costa Verde, where you can't miss Cimadevilla, an old fishing district with a classic seaside atmosphere.

Ready to combine nature and sports? Now we'll tell you what your circular route through Asturias will be like and some tips you should keep in mind.
This tour has 213 kilometers of distance and 5500 meters of accumulated elevation gainTo complete this route, you'll need a hardtail bike and versatile tires, as this is an area with abundant vegetation and fairly rugged trails, with plenty of paths and tracks, both uphill and downhill. Depending on your technical skills and strength, the route is 95% rideable.
The best time to do this route is during the summer and fall seasons, as the temperatures are more pleasant. Even so, much of the route is shaded, along paths and bushwalks, allowing you to pedal comfortably.
Thinking about how many stages to complete? We offer you the possibility of doing this. route in 3, 4 or 5 stages, depending on your personal circumstances. For the more adventurous, we offer a three-day riding option with approximately 70 kilometers per stage. However, we recommend completing this route in four stages so you can enjoy it to the fullest. Finally, we offer a five-day option, suitable only for experienced bikers.
Remember! This is a self-guided, non-competitive tour; the important thing is to enjoy the Asturian landscape and learn about its history and traditions.
