DESCRIPTION

Rural House and Hostel. Abaraxka Azkoitia Hostel is located in the heart of Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Country, surrounded by green mountains and just over 20 minutes from the wonderful and funny beaches of Zumaia and Zarautz.

The establishment consists of a beautiful Rural House with a fantastic view, three rooms and capacity for 10 people; and a Hostel with 7 rooms: a quadruple room, three more for 6 people and three spacious rooms for 8-12 people.

Abaraxka has a delicious restaurant, three large terraces with spectacular views, a garden and a very special and large multipurpose room.

Abaraxka is the starting point of the Ignatian Way, since the Sanctuary of Loiola is only three km away: a pleasant walk or bike ride following the Urola Greenway.

Donostia-San Sebastian is just over half an hour by car or bus. In 45 minutes you will arrive to Bilbao and in a few more minutes to Gaztelugatxe.

The fabulous geopark of the Basque coast is just 20 minutes away, as is the surfing beach of Zarautz. Following by bicycle the Greenway towards Zumaia, you can visit the spectacular cave paintings of Ekain, in Zestoa -Abaraxka it is located exactly in the middle of this greenway, which connects Zumaia with Legazpia in 44 km that follow the old line of the railway-.

And, of course, you have all the beautiful mountainous surroundings of Azkoitia and the Urola valley to enjoy cycling or mountain rutes.
